so, no. this is not battleship ,and if you are looking for special effects just forget it, every thing in this movie have done with the lowest level of quality, and the purpose is obvious, to make as much money as possible from those who confuse this film with the real one.
and of course this movie has a very important message.
if USA army can't defeat the enemy with regular weapons, then they will use mass murder weapons.
how many films you have seen, in which USA decide to use nuclear weapons and in the last moment Mr (kind and unwilling) president cancels the mission. this film and similar film just try to justify usage of mass murder weapons, hey you see that enemy closing to us, better to kill them all before it's too late.
